LONDON: George Clooney's "Good Night, And Good Luck" is to be honoured as the most valuable movie of the year by the organisation Cinema For Peace.
According to contactmusic.com, the movie beat out competition from the likes of Steven Spielberg's "Munich". The film explores the legendary CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow whose journalism brought down the controversial US Senator Joseph McCarthy.
The jury said: "'Good Night, And Good Luck' exerts itself for its subject without getting entangled in pure reproduction. Director George Clooney doesn't only talk about the responsibility to make every decision on your own and to the best of one's knowledge. His work is an invitation to think, a subtle parable about moral courage and freedom of opinion that seems today more explosive than ever."
